 2 This is how the inground pool light should look when assembled into the pool wall.

 3 In Ground Pool Fixtures should have the electrical conduit installed above the water level of the pool, for initial installation. This will be cut down and a 90 degree sweep conduit put in, along with other conduit, for running the light's electrical cord.
